A 2-day summer intensive training program for junior athletes to improve first-step quickness, acceleration, change of direction, jumping ability, and lower-body power.

Develop Speed and Power for Sport

Speed in sport is not only about running fast in a straight line. It also involves weight transfer, acceleration mechanics, stopping, change of direction, jumping, and force production.

This program helps junior athletes build movement skills that transfer across many sports, including baseball, soccer, basketball, swimming, and track and field.

① July 27 (Mon) & 31 (Fri)
② August 3 (Mon) & 7 (Fri)

Time: 4:00–5:30 PM

Ages: 11–16

Fee: ¥5,000

Venue: Takatsuki City General Gymnasium, Small Gym 2

Main Program Content

Day 1

First Step, Acceleration, and Speed

Movement checks, posture and footwork preparation, start drills, and short acceleration work.

Day 2

Deceleration, Change of Direction, and Power

Stopping mechanics, agility drills, re-acceleration, jumping work, and power development.
